Can't edit calendar entries (MacOS >= Catalina)

Open NiklasScheid opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Baikal version: 0.7.1

Expected behaviour: Once a property of the entry is changed and saved it shouldn't change back to the old value (eg. title or start time)

Current behaviour: Mac_CalenderTitle_Bug You need to restart the Mac-Calendar to make changes. This behaviour doesn't appear using Windows (Thunderbird)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make a new entry
  2. Change a property (eg. title)
  3. Save the entry (pressing enter)
  4. Wait a few seconds
  5. The entry has its old value (eg. title)

Hello @NiklasScheid I used Baikal many years ago and remember that i had the same problem once. Maybe you didnt set the permissions on the folders? I just did a fresh install and it works fine.

Ahh you where in 0.7 when you posted this. Interesting because in 0.9 the native mac apps doesnt seem to work at all. I use Thunderbird on mac for this reason now.
