Include commits from PR

Hi,

I understood that only the previous commits / PRs already merged are included, but what about commits that were pushed to a RELEASE branch?

Consider the following scenario (I'm using commit_message type): A branch B was created with several commits X and then a RELEASE PR for that branch was opened to the default branch A. In that case, all the commits X won't be included since they were not merged

As a result, we have a release with a CHANGELOG.md not having the current release commits

I have the same problem. Perhaps we are doing something wrong. Lacks step-by-step instructions.
