syncedFastForward in hooks.cfg caused Panics

My OS: Ubuntu 16.04, gcc 5.4.0, pin 2.14

when the syncedFastForward = false in hooks.cfg file, zsim would provide the above error. But if it is set to true, it works properly. Does anyone know why?
