Add CPWATCH Documentation to VM/370

Open marXtevens opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

CPWATCH is running as a disconnected Virtual Machine, but there doesn't seem to be any online documentation.

Can we place CPWATCH LISTING from the WATERLOO6 tape, file M0039V02 on the 19D (U) minidisk for the next release?

Is there a link online to where we can get that file?

cpwatch.listing.txt

this is the documentation for CPWATCH from the waterloo6 tape . I cleaned up the formatting a little bit to make it not use printer carriage control for formatting.

Hi Joe!

If you could post another listing WITH the printer carriage control characters intact, I could then run it through my HercPrt product's "txt2pdf" utility to convert it into a nice looking PDF file.

cpwatch.punch.txt

Here's the CC formatted version. I thought the text only one might work as a help file, but either or both should probably end up on the CPWATCH 191 disk as well as any external documentation.

Thanks!

For those interested, here's the PDF version:

NOTE: I can change the bar color (or remove the bars altogether) or the font, if I have it. (If I don't, you'll need to either send it to me or tell me where I can get it.)

cpwatch.script.txt cpwatch.memo.txt cpwatch.listing.txt

I put these 3 files on CPWATCH's 191 disk. Oddly the whole package for CPWATCH is there except the documentation. It even builds cleanly. :)
