I'm experiencing the same thing using the latest version of both leafletjs and this plugin. Has anyone found a workaround? I love this plugin!

Well, I found the problem. I typed the CSS link incorrectly. 🙁 Once that was fixed, the icon displays properly now.

I, too, would love to see this updated. It was the only Mail plugin I've ever used, but it served an important function. Thank you.
