FEATURE REQUEST: Make a dedicated measuring mode

I would love to see a mode for measuring only, using all the amazing snapping and UI visuals you already have. Something like MeasureIt, so the dimensions can be kept and deleted and they also move around in real-time with the objects. MeasureIt is great, but it's become very out-dated and a pain to use, your UI is so easy and intuitive to use, it's simply fantastic and I'd love to see it take over from MeasueIt.
