Understanding kitchen cabinet positioning controls

Description of the issue: I would like to mirror one of the kitchen designs. I tried moving the cabinets in the Cabinets tab (up and down arrows). Cabinets get moved, but often moving creates a gap, where a wall cabinet will be not above the floor cabinet, but right after it.

Here I start, and move the fridge "down" (right).

The fridge moves and overlaps one of the upper cabinets but displaces a floor cabinet left.

Now I take the top-most (left-most cabinet) and try to move it left of fridge. I am getting this strange configuration:

The offsets are all set to zero. I can't figure any other configurable clues of relative positioning. Is there any documentation that covers positioning? I could not find anything here.

Also trying to understand how to make the upper cabinets higher

Cabinets location is relative to other ones. You may find "reset location", basically the location of the cabinet is at pivot point when enabled. Cabinet height is a parameter available in "Main" tab.
