Question: How did you get your Youtube API quota so darn large?

Whats your quota, and how is it so large? I've been using reymusic.co and haven't ever gotten rate limited :smiley:

Any pointers for getting a higher limit approved through the application?

I don't think there are more than 10 daily active users the last time I checked, lol. So I'm safe for now from API usage limits. And thank you for being a consistent user :)

@s-kris interesting. at default quotas you can only make 100 searches per day, so that is surprising 10 people could even share that.

For my similar app, I ended up using the public spotify search and then a simple search+webscrape on youtube to get the first result's id for a song title from spotify

I think the daily limit is 10,000 units. We have to check how many units does each search take.
