High CPU utilization when open for long time

After having client center running for several minutes, the CPU utilization is very high. Closing the app allows the CPU to resume to normal levels. Upon reopening, it does not immediately go back up, but does after some time.

Very unusual, never had an issue with any version (since 1.0.1.0) on any of my systems (Win7, Win10).

I wonder if after some time the app is trying to perform an update check and it can't get through your corporate proxy and using more CPU being in a spin. Possibly could get around this by disabling the update function, then monitor, or install the latest and then disable update.

Also, does your admin system have all the prq-reqs is another thing you can check.

You can disable the update check by deleting the File "Plugin_SelfUpdate.dll".

Most cases I've seen it's a CRL (Certificate Revocation List) check that takes a long time to verify the signature of all the dll's at first startup (depending on your CRL Policy). Version 1.0.4.2 is signed with a StarCom certificate which may also generate some issues as this certificate is no longer trusted. As a workarround, you can resign all the Files from ClientCenter with another code signing certificate….
