Feature Request: A command to hide the annotations

Open martindykes opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

I might be being a numpty but cant find a command to do this - I am closing the window and re opening it. If there is another way, please let me know, otherwise this would be a good feature.

For whoever is looking for a workaround for undoing the annotations: vscode has a "reload window" command which reloads the whole window, but also resets the annotations view in the opened editor. That command can be either mapped to a shortcut, or triggerred via the ctrl+ship+P menu -> reload window.

@martindykes Sorry just noticed your comment thanks to @artdgn ...

Annotator is not showing the annotations on the window you're editing. It always opens a new window with git blame info plus your code; so closing the whole annotator window when it is no longer needed is the expected operation.

@ryu1kn haven't noticed that up until now, thanks! no need for a workaround - works as intended :+1:
