width: auto - support for images of different widths

Hello,

Is it difficult for Rcarousel to provide an option so I can do rcarousel() on fx 10 images, each having its own size, and not resulting in each image in carousel having width set by 'width' parameter?

It could be like having a possibility to set width option on 'inherit' or 'auto'.

Would be great to have it.

Hello,

You mean a fluid carousel. rcarousel isn’t fluid and I don’t plan to do it. But maybe in the future? Who knows?

I am temporarily using this one: http://www.smoothdivscroll.com/

It allows images of different sizes and has API method for recalculation of width of entire container if I add/remove elements. (see recalculateScrollableArea on http://www.smoothdivscroll.com/publicMethods.html)

Yours rcarousel seems more robust to me than smoothdivscroll, but lacks this feature that's why I asked.

Now I see that rcarousel design and purpose are slightly different, that is why it is harder to implement this feature in rcarousel.

Yeah Stanislaw, there’s no ‘one fit all’ option. BTW. how is it going in Ukraine? The same shit with Euro as in Poland? :D I don’t know if it is also a Ukrainian word, but I would call it bardak. :D

"The same shit" - this is IT definitely ;) 'Bardak' is standing for it also. fx. Ukrainian train schedule is half rewritten. Though this way I am running into offtop here. ;)
