Ubuntu support?

Interested in adding support for Ubuntu?

It would really come down to just:

  • Trusting os-release (or just not assuming /reporting missing for a /etc/redhat-release file)
  • Letting us hide the Red Hat specific bits if we are not on Red Hat (RHN, etc)

I've got a minimal one working with those altered, but can do a proper pull request (and ensure it still works fine on RHEL) if you are open too it. (Btw, I'm targetting the one-file xsos right now...)

Sure pull requests are always welcome. You can see I first meant to do this 5 years ago in #35 .. just never made it a priority.
