Colored output for snapshots is broken on Fedora

On Fedora 27 I'm getting escape color codes instead of the actual colors for snapshots: screenshot from 2017-11-11 10-22-20

On RHEL 7.4 it works fine.

I have the same issue locally on one of my Fedora 26 Servers. If there is some info you want, I can provide anything.

Using valine for the first time in ages today and I see the same on my F27... sigh.

I think it's caused be a change in behavior of the column command (util-linux). Honestly: I don't have any time (nor any motivation) to figure this out. I'd love to redo valine in python3.6 for fedora-only/rhel8, but alas... aint nobody got time for dat.
