Ctrl+C for cancelling composing a new tweet does not work if text was already entered

Open dkvasnicka opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

When I go to compose a tweet or a reply and I hit Ctrl + C I go back to Home. However when I enter some text (and even if I then delete it) this shortcut stops working and I essentially have to kill the whole terminal tab. Is there some other keystroke for this? F10 does not work, enters 1~ as text.

Ctrl-D works but you have to delete any previously entered text, which kinda sucks.

Sorry for the late reply.

That sounds weird, as it works nice in my environment. Could you elaborate your environment (e.g. OS, terminal emulator, etc.) more?

BTW, just for your information, <C-a><C-k> is the fast way to clear the previously entered text.
