Discrepancy in Commit Count for Hyper Committer Badge

Open siMobin opened this issue 2 months ago • 4 comments

It appears that there is a discrepancy between the total number of commits displayed on my profile (727 commits) and the "Hyper Committer" badge points (215pt). According to the badge system, it seems the system is only accounting for a portion of my commits, even though my overall commit count is much higher.

I've got the same. I've always assumed it's because private commits are not counted. All three of your commit counters differ.

In my experience, the commit count is your GitHub's contribution score from the past 12 months.

This is a little odd, since this score includes things like opened PRs, code reviews, comments on PRs, opened Issues, etc. I created a ticket requesting transparent information about how the different trophy scores are calculated.
