Fixed a few small typos in the first 3 exercises

These are great exercises that I'm enjoying completing. I came across a couple of typos and am sending this PR with the corrections. I've limited myself to just the most necessary fixes.

If this is useful, I'll submit other corrections, if any remain, as I work through the upcoming exercises.
