If we're not going to stick to this literally you can just use the `/data/xAPI/about` endpoint as a health check for the xAPI.

+1 for JSON-LD, not something I've read a lot of, but looks like a solution to things that have been bugging me for a long time with JSON.

Seems reasonable @canweriotnow. Not looked into JSON-LD enough to know how to validate using the schemas, but I'm sure it's simple enough.
