`WARNING: encrypted file does not exist!` while installing to a new system

Hello!

As in the title, except this time the file does in fact seem to be in the mounted nix store while installing to a new system. My code is long and convoluted, but I'm automating the secrets option to integrate it with passage. Should I post all relevant parts here?

Hmm... Despite being and to cat the files after the fact, they don't seem to be there while agenix is active; string interpolation seems to have worked instead. Is there any way to force just adding a regular path and a string path to work as well?
