Support for netrw?

It would be great if we could have devicons on netrw too. It can be used as a file manager just like NERDTree and such but it's faster and it's integrated with vim.

Now, I don't know if it would be possible but I thought I should at least open up some discussion on this as I couldn't find more information about it.

I too would love to see this. I use netrw with tpope/vim-vinegar. It's IMO superior to something like NERDTree. But I'd love to see these icons integrated.

@ryanoasis , I am also use netrw with tpope/vim-vinegar. It's very appreciately if vim-devicons can support netrw.

I am also use netrw with vim-vinegar. I think netrw is the most convenient file manager in vim, I hope devicon can support it!

Despite its shortcomings I prefer netrw to any other tree implementation. It would definitely be a great step ahead if the files were presented with icons.
