What is dir .unotes for?

Hi, could you tell me what is the directory .unotes for? Should I put it in .gitignore to keep it from been push the github repos?

.unotes is where note and folder settings are stored. Be sure to add it to git to have unotes remember your note orderings.

It should not exist. A text editor should really never be designed to make silent directory modifications in project folders. I am honestly really surprised that this hasn't been flagged as a bug or design flaw anywhere. @ryanmcalister, please store settings in a program data directory like every other application does.
