Failed to load plugin workbench obsidian

Steps: 1- Download and unzip the plugin files in VaultFolder/.obsidian/plugins/workbench-obsidian/. 2- Try to enable the plugin in the community plugins list.

I use:

• Obsidian version 0.15.9
• macOS Monterey version 12.6

try installing from the obsidian list of plugins.

If you don't want it do it this way, make sure the manifest and all the files isn't in a sub folder... The files should be in VAULT_FOLDER/.CONFIGURATION_FOLDER/plugins/workbench-obsidian/, not in: VAULT_FOLDER/.CONFIGURATION_FOLDER/plugins/workbench-obsidian/workbench-obsidian-1.6.1 (I get the same error installing manually some plugins)

I can't find it in the plugins list (I have workspaces plugin in the list, is it the same?) I checked the files, they are not in a sub-folder.

Problem solved by letting Obsidian online open and install the plugin after uninstalling the manually installed version. thank you :) !
