Enlightenment's effect on note content is pure CSS. Allowing users to write their own—or at least to choose from a few options—might be fun.

For instance, maybe you want to make the currently-focused block glow and flash like neon lights. That should be possible. Why should you be limited to just opacity? It's a travesty.
