Abandoned project?

I can see that there has not been an update since 2016, and that leaves me to believe that this project has been abandoned.

@ryanfitz are you planning on continuing to support this package? If not please consider to make way for a new maintainer. clarkie has made a package and redistributed to npm as well with a thriving community of developers. Or just discontinue the project and reference clarkie?
