Hi there,

I attempted to follow the directions on your readme to run the SSO server locally, and got the following error:

ERROR: Error compiling file: /private/var/folders/xc/c5007s8x7m358v5g1jpbycm80000gp/T/jetty-0.0.0.0-8080-axiom.war-_-any-/jsp/org/apache/jsp/Home_jsp.java

I installed the current version of maven and am running this using JDK 1.8.0_102 on Mac0S X. I am attaching the error that I got as well.

I don't typically use maven so I'm not sure where to go here. Can you please help me get this set up?

@scromie I had the same issue, changing the JRE to 1.6/1.7 should fix this issue. On the contrary, if you want to keep using Java 1.8, use the patch - https://github.com/ryanbrainard/axiom/pull/10/commits/1144fcc2e2a001a625fe32ca0d103146f52785df
