So far no. But there is alternative "audioplayers" package, which one is often updated. Try to look at that one. Migrating from "audioplayer" to "audioplayers" should be easy.

I can update also package myself. Already did it for multiple packages. But in my opinion best is to use packages, which are more often used in flutter community.

I was using this package too. But I suggest migration to "audioplayers". This package is based on "audioplayers" package so there is only few things to change. Unless project owner updates this package, I think better is to use package, which is more used between flutter community members.
