Feature Request: Auto-Save?

I come from VSC, and it provides very reliable and seamless auto-save. Since I was used to this environment, I was wondering if there was a plugin or native functionality similar to this. I've already lost a few changes to this when accidentally closing it, and this would be at least some redemption for the grief... I really love the simplicity and minimalistic feel of this editor, so this would make the editor a bit easier to use for me. :D
