RectanglePro Not Working Correctly on Mac M1 Pro with 49-inch Widescreen
Hi,
I'm experiencing issues with RectanglePro on my Mac M1 Pro with a 49-inch widescreen monitor. A few months ago, the app was working perfectly, but now the snaps and windows aren't resizing as they used to.
Here are the details of the issue:
- Hardware: Mac M1 Pro
- Monitor: 49-inch Widescreen
- OS: macOS 15.1.1 (24B91)
- RectanglePro Version: 3.037 (178)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open any window on the desktop.
- Attempt to resize the window using RectanglePro shortcuts or snaps.
Expected Behavior: The window should resize according to the defined shortcuts and snaps.
Actual Behavior: The window does not resize correctly.
Additional Information:
- This issue started occurring a couple of months ago.
- No changes were made to the settings or configuration of RectanglePro.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a known fix or workaround for this problem?

I'll need a little more information to understand what's going on. Would you mind adding a screen recording and logs? Hold the option key in the menu bar menu and select View Logging.

Thanks for the additional information. It looks like you might have some other window snapping outside of Rectangle Pro also occurring? Perhaps another window management app is running in the background or built-in macOS snapping?
Thanks for the quick response. I've uninstalled the LG Screen split tool, and restarted my mac. The behaviour listed above didn't change. I can't resize the windows into top/down Left/Right third, fourth, etc. Even the fill top/down left/right fill isn't working. last year, at least only the fill function was working fine. Does the tool (which I really like) support a widescreen monitor 49 zoll?

Yes, all displays are supported. In the video, there are two footprint windows displayed when you are snapping: Rectangle Pro's is darker and has a thinner border. Also, for some of the snapping, when you slow it down you'll see that the Rectangle Pro snap works but the window is again moved after. If you still see this after uninstalling the LG Screen split tool, then you might still have something else running.
