Rectangle Pro making menus disappear on LG display

Open ubercool opened this issue 4 months ago • 2 comments

I have this idiosyncrasy. Whenever Rectangle Pro moves a window to my LG UltraFine and makes it fullscreen, I lose the menus. This is with "Automatically hide and show the menu bar" set to "Never".

Ahyone have a clue why this is happening? 🤔 The only way to regain menus is to restart my Mac.

There's nothing I'm aware of within Rectangle Pro that would cause this behavior. By "fullscreen", I'm assuming you are referring to Rectangle Pro making the window the size of the screen, as opposed to macOS "fullscreen" using the green button?

It's the Maximize setting when touching the top edge of the screen. I have turned that off in Settings and now use it for Maximize Height. It could be a Sonoma anomaly, but logging off is the only way to eliminate it. Traditional methods for showing the menu, like mousing over the top edge, do nothing.
