Keyboard settings not importing?

I was happy to discover Rectangle Pro and all its features. "I should tell the dev that cloud syncing of keyboard shortcuts would be great," I thought, but lo, it was already there. I was kind of bummed to see that my setup on my Main Mac didn't translate to my laptop, however. I even exported the json from the main computer and imported it on the laptop, but the keys didn't sync with the main mac. Are keyboard shortcuts something I always have to set manually?
