[Bug Report] Stash feature does not work properly on multiple displays

Open bigplayer-ai opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Description

The Stash feature of Rectangle Pro is supposed to hide applications on the far leftmost display and reveal them when the mouse cursor is moved over the edge. However, when using multiple displays, the Stash feature behaves incorrectly and makes other applications inaccessible.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect two or more displays to the computer and arrange them horizontally.
  2. Open any application on any right display.
  3. Press the Stash to left hotkey to activate the Stash feature for the application.
  4. Observe that the application moves to the left display relative to the current display instead of the left edge of the far leftmost display.

Expected result

The application should move to the far leftmost display and become hidden behind the left edge of the far leftmost display. Moving the mouse cursor to the left edge of the far leftmost display should reveal the application.

Actual result

The application moves to the left display relative to the current display and remains visible. Moving the mouse cursor to the left edge of the current display does not reveal the application. The application becomes stuck on the left display and can only be dragged back to the original display.

Environment

  • Rectangle Pro version: 3.0.14
  • Operating system: macOS Sonoma 14.2.1
  • Number of displays: 2
  • Display resolution: 1920x1080

Thanks for the detailed report. I'll see what I can do for the next release.
