Unable to use shorcut that places a window past a display boundary
I have an ultrawide display that I use in picture by picture mode (basically as two monitors side by side) and I want to be able to move a window into the middle of the screen with the size of a single 2K display. I have the following settings for a custom shortcut:
But when I try to trigger it, it moves the window briefly and then resets it to the (0,0) position on the first display instead of staying (see screen recordings, each time it flickers is an attempt to trigger the chortcut)
Display 1:

I actually ran into different issues with how my monitors were setup (unrelated to Rectangle) and decided to just use it as 1 monitor. So this is still an issue, but not a priority 😄
Thanks for reporting and updating. At some point, I am planning to handle some scenarios like this, but maybe not this specific one. There are macOS restrictions for window placements off of displays, and that's likely what you're experiencing here. If that's the case, then Rectangle/Pro wouldn't be able to do anything about it regardless.
Would really love to see this fixed. Unfortunately for me using the display as one single display is not an option due to scaling issues.
