Some shortcuts not allowed
Are there some shortcut limitations? I could not find any mentioned anywhere, but I am not allowed to use control-option-command-left
This should be permitted, it's one of my shortcuts that I use in Rectangle Pro. This goes down a relatively tricky path in shortcut handling in macOS, where it's often difficult to determine what could be consuming or occupying a shortcut. Typically this is a scenario where another app has this shortcut registered.
In the long term, I have plans to update the shortcut recorder to better handle it or simply additionally register a shortcut even if it is registered elsewhere. I don't have an immediate timeframe for this, unfortunately.
FWIW, this is the shortcut I use in Divvy, and my attempt to set it in Rectangle was done without Divvy running. 🤷♂️ But I think I might be better off just converting my muscle memory to the Rectangle defaults instead.
