Cursor-based thirds routes to center third only

I have an ultrawide screen, so I use thirds frequently. I assigned cursor-based snapping on both bottom and top locations to be first, center, last thirds. When i use the top side, it does not matter which position I move the cursor to, I always get the window snapped to center third.

I think there's some ambiguity in the UI here. The corner positions are only applied when your cursor is in the corner of the display.

If I understand what you're looking for, the closest thing in Rectangle is to set the top and bottom to "Thirds, drag toward center for two thirds".
