Afloat does not update with mysimbl

Thanks for making afloat, it's been very useful for my workflows.

I do have one issue. Whenever I click "update" in the mysimbl app, nothing happens. Is it possible to update the app through terminal? I am stuck on version 2.4.1 whereas the one in mysimbl showing the update is 2.5.2
