[Suggestion] Create Entity

Moving blocks in Minecraft! What a feat. Unfortunately moving a block has it's cost. I'm thinking of how Archimedes-ships does moving blocks. Create an entity out of your entire block! Basically, having a structure that does not need to connect to outer structures so you have smooth movement powered by redstone (something that archimedes-ships can't do). So my idea would be to make blocks move very smoothly unless you need to do a block update in that case either you can use the old blocks, or if you're feeling adventurous you can make a new block that will force a block when given redstone power. I basically want to make elevators but at the current state of the mod, that's basically impossible (to use anyways, it works if you're not on it :P). If you need more clarification on what I mean, let me know. I'm proficient in Java but have very rarely touched Forge.
