[Feature Request] Implement the functionality of the "Template Carriage" and/or "Memory Carriage" from "Remain in Motion"

The "Template Carriage" makes builds much simpler, as it removes the need to build around frames: build the machine, build a template in the shape of the machine's dimensions, collapse the whole into one block. So nice.

The "Memory Carriage" is basically the same thing, except it doesn't need to have a template built. Since it requires building the machine in midair, it is slightly less user friendly, though.

Here's an example of a strip miner I built in 1.7.10 using RIM's template carriage so you can see how compact it can make things (the single purple block is the template, the thing next to it is the pusher):
