it seems to never call "mydate" sort, the same code works on jsfiddle. http://jsfiddle.net/jengert/Lgf4pmox/15/embedded/result/ my rails code: https://gist.github.com/j-engert/e5c35488c618f752bfac it loads datatable, it sorts by first column in reverse; but it sorts alphabetically, not by "mydate"
