I assume that the following docker image is being generated from this repo: https://hub.docker.com/r/rvolosatovs/protoc

Any chance of making a new stable release for the current development tag? 🙏🏻

Hi! Your assumption is correct :)

I'm currently trying to get through some long-delayed major updates to the grpc and protobuf packages upstream in Alpine Linux. These packages are used in the image produced by this repo. Once this work is done, I think we can do another stable release here.

I'm still working on updating protobuf in Alpine over here: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/merge_requests/82740

But it could be some time still, we need to wait for a new protobuf version first. I think we should do a release!
