If for example "500" is cached, response retrieved from redis is served with "200" response code.

looks like there was work done on this here https://github.com/inthepocket/express-redis-cache/commit/a24321bf13aa20d589052e5584745e3264dd819b , though it needs tests.

Just for note, this seems broken again. :)

I came here looking for this issue. I will look into previous fixes and see if I can get you all a fix.
