Problem using link urls

Running a game map and i'm having some problems using url links. I can extract them no problem, but using them seem not to work.

Iiipmooviewer is served by nginx which also handles url mapping to iipsrv. Images are cached locally to memcached and externally to cloudflare. Works well, except for the direct coordinate urls. How should they be mapped and which part handles their translation? iipmooviewer?

Any pointers would be welcome.
