Improve active areas in app
Description:
Some active areas, such as back button are little bit too small and many times when tapping on button doesn't react. There must be some other locations like this too, these should be fixed.
Back button Graph icon/thermometer icon Sensor settings icon
QA passed
Many buttons are still really hard to tap.
I noticed that back buttons are also hard to press
I propose that part of this issue is related to App updates too rapidl.
I have had instances where after taping on different buttons, the action did not seem to be triggered. However eventually ALL the actions I selected were activated. I suspect that tapping upon buttons WAS received and the action was "stacked" giving the impression that the action had been ignored.
I believe most areas have now improved, I will close this card but keeping what @DG12 mentioned in backlog if that behavior is still not sorted.
Which areas are now improved?
Back buttons, three dots menus, I didn't have any issues switching between history view and sensor card through temp icon, sensor settings icon, history view views selector and three dots working good for me too. And top card three dots can be now pressed on iPhone 14 Pro which was always a pain for me.
@priyonto in simple view I still struggle to sometimes touch the three dots menu, since the area is so small. Can this be improved still?
@markoaamunkajo Let's try this, IMO its pretty big for a touch target already. Trying to have variable width based on alert icon could make things complicated here.
https://accessibility.digital.gov/ux/touch-targets/#:~:text=Make%20touch%20targets%20at%20least,extend%20padding%20past%20the%20icon.
"Make touch targets at least 44 px or 10 mm. This will allow the target to be tapped by the average adult finger pad, which measures 10 mm."
Just my 2 markka :-)
