Logic check on gen_groups.py and 0-firecfg.config

In preparation of a PKGBUILD for this project I was not exactly sure about the gen_groups.py script. 0-firecfg.config states it is automatically generated by gen_groups.py.

So far so good. But gen_groups.py is in contrib and AFAICT never gets installed. How are users supposed to regenerate 0-firecfg.config when new profiles arrive in firejail? Or am I missing something vital here? Just asking, depending on the logic it might have to be included in the PKGBUILD.
