Support HTML5 abbr

Is it possible to support markdown for the HTML5 abbr (abbreviation) tag e.g.:

HTML is cool.

*[HTML]: Hyper Text Markup Language

which outputs

<abbr title="Hyper Text Markup Language">HTML</abbr> is cool.

I would love to see support for the abbr tag! I’m not fluent enough in Go to do this, but hopefully someone else is.
