fyi what you're describing by reinstalling can be achieved by either clearing the app data (maybe even just cache)
They are removed from the compose tree, which is intentional behavior as it is quite heavy to render Assuming you aren't using a release build, this isn't really an issue...
clear app storage and try again if it doesnt work then reinstall
