Selfrando triggers internal error in ld.bfd (../../ld/ldlang.c:5482)

Here's an example from a Ubuntu 16.04 system running test_apache.py:

/usr/bin/ld.bfd: internal error ../../ld/ldlang.c 5482
Linker execution failed, status: 1
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

@Le0nX Are you also on Ubuntu 16.04? If so, what version of binutils are you using (the packages site says 2.26.1, is that right)? We've had other problems with older binutils. I'll try to reproduce it on my end as well.
