What is the problem you're trying to solve?. Have a very quick way to jump into a container to try something out.

Describe the feature you'd like I want a simpler way to do this:

Which (along with several like this) gives me a quick way to launch a container from my Shortcuts menu to have as a place to go and get a terminal up, starting finch if needed, and jump into one of my commonly used containers.

I use a custom profile in iTerm so that I get a window with a slightly different background color than any terminal on a local machine, or anything that even remotely looks like production systems.

Additional context While the full Podman-style UI may not be needed, something small like this could go a long way, re-using existing terminals and settings that someone has.

I disagree, I think the Podman UI is already a simple UI

There should be an UI from finch with similar capabilities in terms of container build/push and running kind, or contribute to Podman UI project to add finch as an "Extension" or "Machine/Resource" Podman UI release 1.0 GA this week https://developers.redhat.com/articles/2023/05/23/podman-desktop-now-generally-available
