Draft duplicates via IMAP

Saving a draft in a third party mobile or desktop app (not in the web interface) such as Thunderbird results in multiple drafts. I'm not sure whether it happens always and about the circumstances needed to reproduce the issue. Yesterday there were again three drafts of a message that was already sent.

I was persuaded this was logged but can't find it...
