No FROM selected, sending queued instead of an error
If a reply has an empty from field (which by itself should not happen), when the send button is clicked, a wait gif starts rotating, eternally. Instead, an error inviting to select an identity should be displayed.
This situation should never occur with a reply as the message was received, so there is a TO or a CC. The situation could occur with a newly composed message.
As you say: an empty from should never happen; this leads to some problem with loading the identities, which, if it fails, should probably just disallow you to compose anything.
@hernan604 wanna follow up on this? :)
This probably can be reproduced with:
create 1 $aliases > send an email with $aliases > delete $aliases > attempt to reply the email with a from $aliases that has been deleted.
I was not able to reproduce an empty "from" field with my attempt described on my last comment.
What happened is, it selected my default email. Which is not wrong.
However since the current "from" is different from the email that sent the email, maybe a warning could be displayed below the "from" field. Something like:
"Attention: The selected from is different than [email protected] that was used last"
