Allow indexing of the Trash and Spam folder as an option.

By "indexing Trash folder" you mean "searching of Trash" (in some fashion) ? Can I add "Spam" folder too please?

I presume the goal would be something like "normal search (all) doesn't return results from those folders, but deliberately searching in them does" ?

Yes, unless indexing these folders make the indices too large.

Correct.

NB: Some folks potentially keep huuuuuge trash folders, so possibly we'll need to enforce websockets for searching those

Just to confirm that this is an actual issue that the users face. An email was received recently but nowhere to be found.

@kotecky Did you mean that the message can't be found via searches, or not visible in the folders at all?

@gtandersen The message does not show up in the search results, despite being in the trash bin.
