email addresses in "to" field not editable

When composing a message (a new one, a reply or a forward), email addressed in the "to" field are not editable. They should be.

When entering an email address it is turned into a "chip" which then lets you easily remove one or more recipients if desired. This is similar to how e.g. Apple's Mail app works.
